For TEPRO Sight Glasses up to size 200 mm, a wall thickness of approximately 5-6 mm is
sufficient, without local reinforcement, which means that a TEPRO Sight Glass can be installed
in practically any position desired with no need for constructional alteration. Installation
in the wall of a housing requires only a smooth, slightly chamfered aperture. When the
TEPRO Sight Glass is pressed into position, the flexible O-ring deforms to make a tight, radial
seal, eliminating the need for any external surface treatment or spot facing of the housing.
